The original for this publication was a manuscript in Morley’s hand, with his signature, but without the title.  Other versions of the piece have surfaced from two pupils of Morley, Tarrant Bailey Junior and George Morris, who either had different copies, or later changed the solo to suit themselves.   That doesn’t mean this is the definitive version, because Morley often changed sections of pieces around before they were published, and this title was held by John Alvey Turner, but it never appeared in print, — probably because it is not easy.  The first section is a tuneful polka in C major, which is followed by two movements, in G and F major, requiring a sound right hand finger-and-thumb technique.
