Returns & Warranties Policy

Non-Warranty Returns

You have the right to return any goods purchased from this website within 7 days starting from the date of delivery. The goods being returned must be in ‘as new’ condition. Clifford Essex Music Co. Ltd reserves the right to make a charge for delivery costs incurred, and also the right to charge a minimum fee of 15% in cases where the goods are not returned to us in ‘as new’ condition.

‘As new’ means there are no traces that the packaging has been opened and all supplied contents are present and in perfect condition.

Please note that we do not accept returns of CDs or printed music, unless found to be faulty in which case a replacement product of the same title will be supplied.

Any technical difficulties arising from the purchase of a downloaded ebook, PDF or audio file must be reported within 48 hours of purchase.

Warranties

All brand-new items carry a minimum of a full 12-month manufacturers return to base warranty. The warranty on second-hand goods varies dependent on the product. The warranty period is stated on the product web page.

If at any time within this warranty period, the equipment fails, in the first instance contact us at info@cliffordessex.com where one of our advisers will try and help you rectify the fault.

If your item fails or is faulty within 30 days of receipt and is not due to mis-use or other reason excluded from the normal warranty, we will exchange it for a new item.

After the 30-day period, we will arrange a suitable repair of the item.

Warranty Returns

All warranty returns must be authorised in advance by emailing info@cliffordessex.com. If we decide that your item needs to be returned to us, we will issue you with a returns authorisation number. This number must be
displayed clearly on the outside of any returns sent to us.

Payment Methods

We accept payment on our website through Stripe payment. You can choose to make payment by Stripe and by most major credit and debit cards.

Shipping

All products in stock will be sent within two working days of receiving them. Currently, we offer online ordering and shipping to the UK, Europe and outside Europe. Shipping rates do vary between areas.

The shipping method we use is determined by the size and nature of the goods being purchased. Sometimes you will have the choice of different shipping methods. These will be offered to you at the checkout stage of ordering.

Out of stock items and back orders

When an item is not available for shipping within 2 days, we will contact you immediately to let you know, and ensure that it is shipped the next working day after it has arrived at our premises.

Credit Card Security

All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using encryption. They are not held on our web site, nor included in any email.

WEEE Regulations

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (or WEEE) Regulations are now UK law. All European memberstates and the UK have agreed to reduce the amount of WEEE that is being disposed of in landfill sites. We are doing our best to satisfy these regulations.

Special Order Items & Deposits

If you wish to order a non-stock item, you will be required to pay a minimum 10% non-returnable deposit. The remaining balance is payable upon despatch of the item to you. Should you wish to cancel the order of a special order item for any reason before it arrives to you, your deposit will not be returned.
