Product Details
Despite this Ramirez 1A being four decades old, it remains in remarkably good condition free of any structural flaws. The body is void of cracks of any sort, however, on close inspection, it is possible to detect a handful of cosmetic minor marks. This does not, by any means, influence the instrument’s original resonance and power. Note: the previous owner had fret markers inserted in the neck at frets 5, 7 and 9, which also has no bearing on this instrument’s superior tone.
Built using solid Indian rosewood for the back and sides, a solid cedar top and a cedar neck with ebony reinforcement, this guitar also features the intricate rosette used on 1A models of this period. The ebony fretboard is in excellent condition. Action on the 12th fret low E string is 4 mm and the 12th fret high E string measures 3 mm. This guitar is equipped with hand-engraved gold Fustero tuners, also in excellent condition.
Fully set up by one of our craftsmen and includes the original hard case.
The Ramirez family have produced concert-quality classical and flamenco guitars since 1882. They have been used in performances by countless professionals.
