The London Club Parade

THE LONDON CLUB PARADE

The London Banjo, Mandolin, and Guitar Club was one of the foremost fretted instrument groups in the years between the first and second great wars and, from time to time, had several well-known players as President.   Both Cammeyer and Morley were among them, and each dedicated a solo to the Club during their term of Presidency.   The above title is a typical Morley piece of the period, and combines four tuneful sections with some showy, but easy fingering, resulting in one of his most popular solos.   It was originally published by the old Clifford Essex Company, and is now re-issued with the added advantage of a version in tablature.
