Summer Serenade
SUMMER SERENADE
This is a quiet solo with some unusual and interesting four-note chords. Written in six-eight time, using the easy keys of C and F major, but exploring the upper frets for much of the piece, it is an attractive, tuneful solo. It would sound particularly well if played muted, or on a zither-banjo, but careful attention to the dynamic markings should produce a musically satisfying result on any five-string banjo.
