SOLO ‘A’

The rather odd title of this piece was pencilled on the manuscript found among the files of a major publishing company, — and the piece was never published.  Perhaps there was a ‘Solo B’, but, if so, it has not been found yet.  The solo, second banjo, and piano parts exist in Morley’s hand, but like so many of his manuscripts, he had not added a title.  It has some good tunes which can be played at almost any speed, and there are no technical difficulties, so the only adverse comment is that it could do with a better title.
