Subtitled ‘Mazurka’, this may have been written by Morley in his earlier days, when various dance forms were in vogue, although my original copy shows 1928 as the publication date.  It was one of three Morley titles published at that time by J.E. Dallas, the other two being ‘Radio Jig’ and ‘Popcorn’.  The keys are F major, and B flat major, with its relative G minor, and the mazurka rhythm is maintained throughout, providing players with a tuneful solo of moderate difficulty which, if played at the suggested tempo, is in the same style as the composer’s ‘Gavotte de Concert’ or ‘Minuet’.
