LEAPFROG

As you might expect from the title, this is what used to be called ‘a novelty number’.  It includes such banjo effects as bridge rasps and drum taps, all at a fairly fast pace, making it great fun to play.   There is a short chromatic run and some four-note chords which are best played using three fingers and the thumb of your right hand, but with a little practice, the average banjoist should be able to have any audience shouting for an encore — and meaning it in the true sense of the word.
