JUST TIME FOR THAT
This is one of the many solos given to the C.E. Co. by Frank Lawes over a period of at least twenty years for printing in the BMG. Most of his modern-sounding pieces have catchy titles such as this one, and most of them can be rated as from easy to moderate difficulty, with this one certainly on the easy side. It is written in the keys of C and F major, and appeared in one of the war-time BMG’s, where it suffered from a few engraving errors which have been corrected in this publication. Like most of Lawes’ solos it is tuneful and well worth playing; — in fact if you haven’t tried it, you are advised to make ‘just time for this’!
