FLAT TOP BOOGIE – Chris Spedding
A Boogie in 12 bar blues format in E major this piece employs some ‘classic blues’ clichés and is a good technique builder as well as being effective performance material. Great chord voicings in the third chorus.
Articulation and dynamic marks have been omitted in order to avoid clutter and facilitate reading and will fall into place naturally as the performer gains speed.
This piece is probably equivalent to material of a similar level at Rock School grade 3
