DREAM DANCE
Despite its name, suggestive of a slow, airy piece, in the style of a reverie, this solo is more of a dance than a dream. Although it was probably written about 1900, it has many of Morley’s later characteristics, with some fairly quick shifts, and triplet runs. It is an attractive solo, not difficult, with some good tunes which make it an ideal piece to play to any kind of audience.
