Some personalities in the fretted instrument world have gained fame by their playing; others from their published compositions and arrangements. Others become famous as teachers. A guitarist whose name is known all over the world by his published works is Louis Gallo. I was fortunate enough to have known Louis when I worked for Clifford Essex Music Co., Ltd back in the sixties. I have very fond memories of him and remember him not only as a brilliant guitarist but also as a perfect gentleman. Clem Vickery Snr.
