REVERIE IN F

This is one of the ‘Golden Oldies’ in the banjo repertoire.   Hind’s Reverie in F was played by countless banjoists, professional and amateur, at countless public performances in the heyday of the instrument.   Originally published by Barnes and Mullins for solo banjo with pianoforte accompaniment, it does not appear to have included a second banjo part, which is a pity, because a delicate piece of this nature is inclined to be overwhelmed by a piano accompaniment.   In this publication, the first time it has been made available to tablature as well as notation readers, a second banjo part, based on the original piano accompaniment, is included at no extra cost.
