Here is another solo by Derek Hall, but it is a little more advanced than his ‘Honeysuckle Waltz’.   It certainly has some phrases reminiscent of the Late Renaissance period, being the kind of thing Dowland might have written had he been lucky enough to have a banjo as well as a lute.   Or perhaps the kind of solo Joe Morley would have written had he lived at the time of Thomas Morley, (who wrote the music to go with some of the plays by his friend Shakespeare).  The piece consists of a first movement in C which is repeated each time after three different sections in F, E minor, and F again, with a short interlude in one place, and an attractive final four-bar coda in typical Morley (Joe) style.
